Best mom EVER!

First, let me thank my friend Michelle for making me the best mom EVER in my daughter's eyes. This weekend she got to meet many of her favorite Disney TV stars! We were invited to the Radio Disney Music Awards by our friends, Michelle and her daughter Kayla, who we met when our girls were just 6 months old. It's amazing to see how these beautiful little girls have grown up to be sweet, kind 8 year olds!

They not only got to see the award ceremony, but also got VIP access to the Disney After Party! What a blast it was!

She was excited to see Selena Gomez perform!

She got to meet many of the Shake It Up actors! Sophia was a little nervous, can you tell? She kept saying "Mom, there is so and so----- I need to take my picture with them!"

Zendaya was so super sweet! This girl is gorgeous and my goodness I was a dwarf next to her!

We even got to see a performance by Fifth Harmony at the after party!

Move out of the way - VIP's coming through! HA!!

The perfect suit

I am on the search for the perfect Summer bathing suit! After two kids, I'm one of those unlucky ones that didn't get her flat belly back. It's probably all those darn brownies I had when I was pregnant with Sophia. Who knew that gaining 75 pounds while your pregnant would leave behind some extra waves on my belly!  Instead, I get to wear those ugly one pieces mommy suits - well at least I used to think they were ugly until I found my perfect mommy bathing suit!

I have a girls birthday celebration weekend next month and so this suit will be a perfect fit with all my skinny friends! It shows some skin while covering up those extra waves! PALM SPRINGS, I'm ready for you!

This Marc Jacobs suit is so bright and happy!  Also, all the diagonal, vertical and horizontal lines could make anyone look a few pounds thinner!

Pillow talk

I am infatuated with pillows at the moment. Maybe because I can't wait for summer so I can lounge outside on my patio furniture surrounded with beautiful comfy pillows. There are so many great pillows to choose from at the moment. Wanted to share my favorites and I'm hoping to add some of these to our home collection real soon!

The four pillows above are from Caitlin Wilson Textiles. She really has an eye for color. Just looking at her pillows brings a smile to my face, can't imagine how happy I would be if I were surrounded by them. I may have to save up for a few of these luxuries!

The two pillow below are from Joss & Main. They ALWAYS have something I can't live without!

Julian's 7th Birthday Bash!

Julian wanted to have a small best-friends birthday bash. Usually, I like to go all out on birthday parties, but now that he has an opinion on his birthday he just wanted his top 7 "buddies" to come over for an all out boys party (plus, his sister, of course!)

He chose to have a Laker's theme party as that is his favorite sports team! Go Lakers! 

I thought, what do boys like - pizza, to play games, hit a pinata and eat cake! Easy breezy!
