Working Girl

I have to share some exciting news, I went back to work and I am LOVING it!! I forgot how great it felt to actually feel like you are accomplishing something and having a paycheck doesn't hurt! I LOVE my new job, and feel so blessed! Wanted to share a few new "office" items I recently purchased. No more flip-flops and cut-off shorts for me, at least not during the week!

Hello summer

Summer is upon us! Time to dig out the sunblock, dust off the beach chairs and start eyeing some wedges! Here are a few I'm loving right now!

SUPER excited about this coming weekend! Getting away with my girls to celebrate a friends birthday. We are headed to sunny Palm Springs. We will be staying at The Saguaro, their retro decor inspired me for a few essentials that will make this trip even better!

The perfect suit

I am on the search for the perfect Summer bathing suit! After two kids, I'm one of those unlucky ones that didn't get her flat belly back. It's probably all those darn brownies I had when I was pregnant with Sophia. Who knew that gaining 75 pounds while your pregnant would leave behind some extra waves on my belly!  Instead, I get to wear those ugly one pieces mommy suits - well at least I used to think they were ugly until I found my perfect mommy bathing suit!

I have a girls birthday celebration weekend next month and so this suit will be a perfect fit with all my skinny friends! It shows some skin while covering up those extra waves! PALM SPRINGS, I'm ready for you!

A little style to my step

The truth is I am sucker for flats! I love anything that doesn't require a heel. Yes, I am a midget at 5'2 and dream of being taller, but I also hate the next morning when I wake up with sore feet after a night of dancing in heels. I'm that girl that takes flip-flops to a wedding and changes into them once I see the alcohol flowing. With Spring-time upon us, my search for the perfect Summer "flat" sandal is ON! Feeling Green For Spring!

When I hear the word Spring I always think we're getting a little closer to SUMMER! Of course their are many reasons to love Spring in itself - like wearing bright colors (like green), showing some leg and enjoying a beautiful sunny day. 

I'm such a lover of the color green! I think I can thank Kermit the Frog and his song 

"It's not easy being green"  

But green's the color of Spring
And green can be cool and friendly-like
And green can be big like an ocean, or important
Like a mountain, or tall like a tree
